If I Still Had That Shirt, I'd Wear It Today...

Here is a photo of my family from back in the day (probably about 1982-83). I'm the guy with the mullet on the left. First of all I'd like to thank my parents for seeing to it that I was later outfitted with a nice set of braces, rubber-bands, and headgear to correct an unruly set of teeth and an over-bite. You can get a sense for my rebellious nature by the way I've added a small part to my hair above my brow as if to pronounce, "Don't mess with me, I don't conform easily". Other notable features include the shirt my brother is wearing which came straight from the JCPenney catalog (and probably went back right back after the photo was taken), it's buttoned up all the way which I attribute to his sense of modesty and introversion. I can't say much about my dad's shirt except that I know my mom picked it out for him. I also refuse to comment on my mom's dress since she may still have it in the rotation today- and mocking a woman's clothes includes a ticket to the dog house. I like her hair though, it's like an abridged version of the farrah fawcett style (which was popular at the time and I believe will make a comeback). I like this picture, I'm glad we had it taken.
