I finished listening to the unabridged version of the book 'DUNE' (all 21 hours). What a phenomenal work of fiction. For a book written in 1965 it sure retains its value nicely. I think the fact that audio book was produced by the BBC made it even more entertaining since all the parts were read by royal subjects of the Queen...good chaps, all of them. If you haven't read DUNE and you're into science fiction you should give it a spin.

I am always glad to hear when you enjoy a book, since when we were dating, you said your favorite books were Dr. Suess! Nothing against his books, but I am glad to see you have advanced over the years!
You know, I watched the movie and it was OK. I think I will read now just because you said so.
I haven't seen the movie yet, but I look forward to it now that I'm done with the book. I checked it out in IMDB; Patrick Stewart as Gurney Halleck...I gotta see that!
