This is where I live

This is my house. It was built in 1912-ish in a mining town and was eventually transported in two pieces to its current location. We've made a lot of improvements/renovations over the past seven years we've lived here so it really looks amazing now. My wife will be posting some more recent photographs of the place on her blog shortly, so I thought I'd display this picture representative of our home's humble beginnings- complete with an old school car in the driveway. I got the picture from the county's land records website. Most (if not all) counties in the US have land records posted for each property with a lot of information available for public access. It is fascinating to see what the county says about your home and its value, but more fun to see what it says about other homes in the neighborhood ;)

Was the car part of the package?
