Adam Walsh case officially closed

In a previous post I mentioned that I have read two books by John Walsh; 'Tears of Rage' and 'No Mercy'. If you're familiar with the story of what happened to his son Adam in 1981 and also the way it altered the course of his family then it may interest you to know that the Hollywood, FL police department has finally closed Adam's case. On a personal note John Walsh is one of the people I most respect in this world, not because of what happened to him but what he's done since then. If you haven't read 'Tears of Rage' you probably should, especially if you're a parent. I've read where some say the book and John's story are detrimental because they inspire fear of strangers and near paranoia regarding the safety of children, to that I say 'good'.
