The gist of the story is...
A contractor finds $182,000 inside the wall of a very old home. Apparently a wealthy fella stashed it there during the depression. The contractor and the home owner were unable to agree on how to split the finding quietly so the family line to the original owner finds out about the money and now everybody gets a very small portion - everyone loses. Why didn't the contractor put it all in his truck and leave without saying a word? Why didn't they all just donate the money to charity? Who knows, but my house is older than the one in the story and makes me want to tear the walls down...

i must be evil because I would have put the money in my tool box and quietly walked out and never mentioned it to anyone!
Karma would have given him a kick in the backside if he kept it. Just ask Earl.
