As a web developer I do reasonably well at making web applications function and designing around that functionality, but my actual design skills have been lagging lately. I decided to enter some designs in contests hosted by 99Designs. Long story short after about ten designs I haven't won anything but my work has been absolutely criticized to pieces. In the past few weeks I think my web design skills have advanced exponentially due to the sometimes harsh feedback I've received, so I thought I'd try my hand at re-designing my blog. Let me know what you think...seriously. Don't be nice, be honest. No expletives please. ;)

I like the title (kind of James Bondish) and I really like the buttons/links at the top. I has a clean feel to it. I'm beginning to think that mine has too much on it!

Superherotrainer, what excellent feedback. The clean/open look was what I was going for! Never thought of the top as 'james bondish' but I like the comparison- a favorable biproduct!

I like it, but not as much as the design you did for mine! But, I will agree, your design looks very clean and professional! You are very talented:)
